OUR MISSION AND VALUES
Soul Soup is an ecumenical ministry made up of a partnership of various individuals and organizations through the Tri-Cities, WA region. We share a common belief that when we serve those in need, we serve and honor God. We believe it’s our responsibility to care for those who are hungry, and we strive to do that with grace and compassion.
MISSION
Our Mission is to assure that no one goes hungry in our community, that no food is wasted that can help those in need, and no one is denied the opportunity or assistance to move towards self-sufficiency.
VALUES
We Believe that:
- Every human being should be treated with dignity and respect; therefore we treat all people that eat at Soul Soup as our honored guests.
- Everyone is welcome at our table. Soul Soup provides healthy and nutritious meals to all who come through our doors.
- Feeding a hungry person is often a first step in addressing bigger needs. We strive to help connect people with community resources as needed.
- Our volunteers and supporters are a valued asset and we know they are essential in helping us meet the needs of the hungry.
- We endeavor to ensure every volunteer and guest has a positive and safe experience at Soul Soup. Because we are a faith-based organization, everything we do is to glorify God.
